GHIAA Welcomes Two New Members at Its 7th General Meeting in Long Beach, California

California, 14 January 2025 -  The Global Hydrogen Industrial Association Alliance (GHIAA) held its 7th General Meeting on 14 January 2025 in Long Beach, California, bringing together representatives from  26 national hydrogen associations. The hybrid-format meeting reaffirmed the growing importance of international cooperation in the hydrogen sector and enabled in-depth discussion on key strategic topics.

During the meeting, GHIAA formally approved the membership of the Czech Hydrogen Technology Platform and the New Zealand Hydrogen Council, expanding its network to 26 countries. 

Member associations also reviewed the upcoming GHIAA Annual Report, which compiles updates on hydrogen policies, industry trends, and association activities. 

In addition, GHIAA discussed the development of a searchable online database to enhance visibility and connectivity across global hydrogen companies—building on its ongoing efforts to promote business collaboration and information sharing.

The meeting concluded with confirmation that the 8th General Meeting will be held in Seoul, Korea in early December 2025.
